3/08/09 Tue   Milaad Celebration of Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) birthday - Islamic   commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, founder of Islam, in about 570 C.E.  The prophet's teachings are read and religious meetings are held. 
3/10/09 Tue   Purim Jewish celebration of the deliverance of the Jewish minority in Persia from genocide. Charity to the poor, sharing food with friends, and vigorous merrymaking mark the observance.
3/11/09 Wed   Sangha Day  Celebration of the presentation of teachings by Lord Buddha
3/14/09 Sat Holi Hindu Celebrations - also known as festival of colors -  marking the beginning of spring with a deluge of color. One is encouraged to interact with the other. Begins with the full moon.

3/20/09 Fri St. Patrick's day An Irish Catholic Holiday - Christian celebration of Patrick who brought Christianity to Ireland in early days of the faith.
